Planet Worth is a locally grown, sustainability-oriented nonprofit serving Seattle’s unhoused population. All of our programming rests on a foundation of trusting relationships formed between members of our organization and our unhoused neighbors. As friendships are formed, trust is built and neighbors feel comfortable confiding in us and sharing personal needs and desires for help. From there we assess which resources and requests we are capable of tackling and the most sustainable manner of acquiring and delivering those resources. This initiative started in Seattle, WA, but we hope to see the love and support of nature and the people who need its sustenance spread across the globe. You can help! Whether it’s donating time, money, or resources to our local cause, or starting your own vegan food distribution to unhoused people and food insecure community!
