Meet Our Co-Founders

  • Milly Ayotte

    they/she
Co-founder and Resource Manager of Planet Worth

Milly brings a rich, plant-based food background to our kitchen and thoughtful team leadership to the field. Inspired by their belief that human necessities should be accessible to all, they are constantly seeking resourceful ways to interrupt the waste cycle and create pathways for commodities to reach our unsheltered neighbors.

Milly transplanted to Seattle from the midwest in 2017 and turned to full-time mutual aid at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then, their commitment to - and belief in - the power of community has only strengthened, understanding more every day the effect of genuine care and authentic interaction. In their spare time, you can often find them snuggling with her dog Atwood, crafting in multiple forms, or playing music.

  • John Kennedy

    he/they
Co-founder and Program Director of Planet Worth

John is a seasoned master of interconnection and lifelong resident of Seattle, bringing a unique yet unassuming familiarity with him through the community. His passion for human dignity combined with his respect for the earth culminate to create intentional community building with guidance from sustainable innovation and habits.

Often leading the charge on new initiatives, John spends his time with our neighbors listening to their needs to then inform how we develop the most effectual ways to spend our organizational energy. When not making calls and writing emails, John can be found nurturing his many beautiful plant children, writing music, or playing tennis with his brothers and friends.
